The Task:
To ensure precise and test-sensitive assembly of CCS2 charging sockets (2-/3-phase), we developed a semi-automated rotary indexing system with 8 stations. The core of the solution: a high-performance rotary indexing table with intelligent workpiece holders, integrated test technology, and highly automated assembly units.

• 8-segment working area with form-coded nests for the charging socket, DC cable & index pins
• Sensor-monitored component feed – from cable lug detection to cover inspection
• Automated assembly of subcomponents using multi-axis systems
• Camera-based inspection and documentation system
• Screwdriving portal with automatic screw feeding and torque-angle monitoring
• Integrated safety concept: light curtain with entry protection, process start via push button, service doors with safety locks, @PILZ safety technology
