“genialsozial” – Students in action for a good cause

During the 21st “genialsozial – your work against poverty” action day by the #SächsischenJugendstiftung (SaxonYouthFoundation), thousands of young people across Saxony once again swapped their school desks for a workplace for a day. In return for their work, donations are made to support social projects in the Global South – such as building a school in Sierra Leone or a reforestation program in Madagascar.

A small portion of the donations also benefits initiatives in Saxony, for example, to support families of children with cancer or to enable school trips for disadvantaged students.

We at Brainware Solutions GmbH took part in the action day for the third time: Two female students and one male student actively supported us in administration and PC assembly at our Chemnitz-Röhrsdorf locations.

We say thank you for this incredible social commitment – and are happy to offer young people exciting insights into our working world through this initiative.
