We recently showed you in a short film (external link) how our new and innovative end-of-line tester for automotive door modules works in practice. You have certainly noticed the sophisticated safety concept, in which the end-of-line quality check starts automatically as soon as the operator leaves the safety zone. This eliminates unnecessary operating steps and the cycle time is reduced accordingly.

The door modules move in and out of the system with an acceleration of up to 7 m/s². The fact that the operator is always fully protected is thanks to a multi-level safety concept that we implemented for this machine with components from Pilz GmbH & Co. KG.

And it is precisely this aspect that is now being explored in more detail in a professional article in the "Industrieanzeiger" Issue 1/2022 (external link in german language) on the use of the lidar scanner and other components.

Conclusion: With short cycle times and the least possible manual effort for the workers, a completely automated end-of-line inspection of door panels for cars is carried out - in summary: fast, smart, efficient and above all "null ppm"
