Here’s how we started: no factory floor, no manufacturing facilities, no established industry name. Just computers, code—and the conviction that any problem can be solved if you truly understand the underlying process.

So, we write software. BW-Hydraulik for hydraulic equipment dealers. BW-Makler for financial and insurance brokers. An unusual mix—but the underlying question is always the same: How do you turn a complex process into a structure that works reliably day in, day out?

Almost everything has changed since then. Software evolved into systems, systems into custom machinery, and two rooms grew into two production facilities. What has remained is the name—and what it stands for: hardware and software are tools. The real difference is made by people who solve tricky challenges with ingenuity.

Brainware. In 1997, it was a promise. Today, it is a track record.
