A few days ago on the shipping list: this all-rounder in the truest sense: a combined assembly and testing workstation with an integrated laser marking unit. Immediately in use in the production of components of the wire harness network for automobiles in the premium segment.

This system combines all work steps in one device. Several assembly steps, the laser marking as well as the control of the correct assembly execution are all carried out at one work station. The concept is designed in such a way that not only a single product can be assembled and tested on the system, but also several changing products thanks to the interchangeable assembly fixtures.

Because all assembly fixtures can be contacted automatically in the sense of plug-and-produce, they can be exchanged within a very short time. This creates scope for flexibility during assembly - think, for example, of changing requirements such as component variants, changes in test requirements, fluctuations in demand, etc. More information here.

A detailed and comfortable worker guide and assistance is of course integrated and guides the worker step by step through the assembly, checks the absence of errors and thus ensures the best quality in production.
